Kama is translated from Sanskrit as pleasure, gratification, sexual fulfillment, pleasure of the senses, desire, eros, or the aesthetic enjoyment of life. Hot and Heavy at first, then smooth and intimate for the long evening ahead. Animalic, Ambery, Musky, Spicy, Heady, Floral, Luscious, and Honeyed smells await you.

* “It smells like I want to stare at you across the table during dinner, and enjoy you later…”

Notes: Saffron, Ambergris, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Agarwood, Ambrette Seed, Frankincense, Myrrh, Patchouli, Davana, Cinnamon, Jasmine, White Lotus, Rose, Champa, Tuberose, Neroli, Clove, Nutmeg, Coriander, Mimosa, Carnation, Cardamom, Frangipani

Amanda Feeley Perfumer: Kama was an experiment that I intuitively put together.  I didn’t know how it would turn out.  I wanted to capture the ancient materials used in India for perfumes, or that I felt would have been used in perfumes.  It wasn’t until a month or so went by that I began to understand the power of these botanicals on the human brain.  I perhaps subconsciously or genetically knew, that these flowers, spices, woods and resins would have an effect on the libido of a man.  Though it wasn’t until my husband smelled the perfume on my neck that I really understood WHY these were used.  It was unfortunate that our children were awake…

*The quote is from Amanda’s  husband as he smelled Kama on her for the first time, and his reaction to it on her skin. Perfume Pharmer suggests YOU try it… we did.

Monica Skye Miller: Kama is a take no prisoners love potion. On opening the bottle (my new bottle that I purchased from Amanda- the sample vial was not enough!) and applying it to my skin the first note that pops from this vial of Indian spices is a sweet cinnamon reminding me of my farmer friend’s cinnamon forest in Costa Rica.   Davana, Cardamon, Ambrette, Patchouli and the beautiful florals conspire to confound and seduce one to the will of the potion… this sensual blanket of scent (and Amanda’s scents are always well balanced symphonies) conjures images of smooth cocoa skin, rich colorful textiles, gold jewelry and an evocative…sensual imagination. Highly recommended.

Kama is truly a unisexy fragrance, the spice factor and patchouli-esque musky theme would suit itself well to men and women alike.

Kama sounds exquisite and sensuous. I want to try this Love potion ASAP.

@ Taffynfontana… yes. At first I was a little scared- having had a couple bad experiences with cinnamon… but Amanda has it under control here. The perfume is really well blended/balanced… the first spice kick IS hot and heavy.. then the rest of the notes take over- smooth and brown in a coppery shimmery way…

Awww <3 Such a lovely thing to wake up to. Monica, thank you SO much for the wonderful words about Kama!

I remember thinking to myself, "What if this doesn't turn out? I've wasted all of these good smells?!?" I was more than relieved when it not only turned out well, but it went over the top with *RAWR* appeal :D

WOW This one sounds smoking hot! I have GOT to try it! Amanda has been hitting a lot out of the ball park lately, I’m sure I don’t need to ‘try’ this first!

One of my favorite movies that my husband and I love, and the perfume sounds awesome too! Thank you for this opportunity.

I am curious about this scent, and if it smells like India with all of its curry types of smells, or if it is harder to peg where it is from…..

Kama smells even more wonderful than I had anticipated! I love the cinnamon in this, it’s very earthy and comforting and not too overpowering. I would agree that this is a great perfume for a night on the town, but there’s also something really soothing about it and think it could be during times of relaxing. I had my husband smell it and he approves too! :-D
