a green perfume called Ghusun. It’s a limited edition mossy violet (again with the violets!)

……and loamy earth fragrance.

Ghusun is made with galbanum, violet accord, sandalwood, aged patchouli, rose otto, Balinese long pepper, holy basil, Haitian vetyver, boronia, clary sage absolute, lavender Seville absolute, jasmine grandiflorum, green tea.

Monica: about the perfume…it’s dark…it’s green…and I like it. But then I like dark green things. This fragrance is not mean to you, it has a softness in it’s dark obscurity. Kind of like dark green velvet curtains drawn against the world. You can hide inside this scent and think your own thoughts. The boronia and rose give this scent it’s velvet..with the Seville lavender absolute deepening the green into a blanket of fragrance. Violet leaf is the most ladylike of base notes and the darkest of green layers. Peppery galbanum and basil make appearances in this card spread but in a mannerly way. This has to be one of my favorite green fragrances so far. Anything that reminds me of my Aunt’s comforting and stately green velvet curtains has to be a good thing.

Sillage/Longevity: gentle

Justine is so talented and weird at the same time. She makes my mouth water with her blends. Who puts long pepper in a blend? Justine does. I would very much love this.
