“……The whole thing played nicely into my latest obsession of all things “RIVER” , so I named it Riverwalk. Not so much for the water itself, but for the smells that catch ones nose as they walk along the banks. Here in my neck of the woods I can walk out my front door and be on the river trail in ten minutes. The river air (along the trail) is intense with the smell of fresh greens, moss and earthy decay sprinkled with intermittent wafts of sweetness as wild flowery things come and go throughout the season. To be a lover of rivers is to be inspired by all of it’s history and beauty. Mark Twain had a love of rivers, and I understand the obsession. The water gets in the blood, flowing through the body like a wise Sage from ancient times.”
