the fragrant treasure that is combined in this sweet creme perfume was evident at first sniff!
what a waft of the most incredible…costly and rare essences!
I am pleased, nay, delighted, with this scent.
Eight kinds of Oud!!!
It says “hold me close to your heart and never let me go”
it says
“I will help you reach the shore”
no matter how deep the ocean
how frightened you feel
I am there
I am wood
sweet and good and strong.
I think many of the things we do..especially within the creative process
come directly from the unconscious
just as you were saying “no middle notes”
Oud Luban to me is highly polished wood
the elemi and frankincense caressing the oud, opoponax and aged patchouli…
Yes, I believe this is a powerful magic you have created Dear Sister
from your conscious/ unconscious
whether or no they interact
whether or no, “no middle notes”
no matter that, it is perfect!

this art is full of symbols, again… does the artist realize the depth of what he or she is creating while in the creative process?

in Tarot, the ETERNAL DANCER
…however the candle…is that of the HERMIT #9…he is lighting the way, for himself, and others…
to CROSS… the great divide
BUT the light does not throw a great way…just a step or two
but what can you do?

the NOSE, the GOLDEN NOSE
to me symbolizes the…sniffer…smelling her way upon the road of life
does it “smell right”?
and I “home”?
the WORLD is our home and the end of the journey
the end of course is always another beginning

we are fools,the uninitiated
foolish and immature in our decisions
the GOLDEN NOSE
when used, understood, honored

interesting that in this card the MOON is partially covered
again to me this symbolizes partial knowledge
the partial uncovering of the truth
or a partially clear reflection
as the MOON symbolizes reflected light (it doesn’t have its own)
the card is also… a night picture.
what of night?
night can last a thousand years it seems…
when all we want to do is make our way back…to the light…
These precious woods and essences, this perfume called OUD LUBAN
I say…“wear it close to your heart”
take this precious scent and hold it close
for strength
for comfort
when you know
you don’t know
and need help to find your way
back to shore….
BUT, what of CLARIMONDE you might ask? What of the story to bring forth these fragrant treasures?
What I can say is this;
It is no small thing to bring forth from the unconscious mind, the requisite communication to make information known…to the conscious mind.
It is about the relationship between the two.
How well do you know yourself?
Do you reject and repress that which would make you whole?
