This poetry evokes a journey into the lower world. With my Power Animal, my journeying companion, I go wandering through the cartoon characters and scenes seen in my mind… the big fluffy green trees full of black crows; the blue crayon-coloured sky; the big yellow Sun encircled with radiance. I hear it, I see it, I feel it, I know it. This alternate reality exists so I can relax within it. I rest on the metaphors and dance at the knowingness of the writer. I allow the tones and light to create worlds upon worlds – inner worlds; outer worlds; expanding and collapsing; expanding and collapsing as the rise and fall of the prose carries me onward. Thank you for my morning meditation. Love Lyn
